Goose's Journey

" Goose came to us as an orphan foal owner surrender. His mom rejected him and tried to kill him, He had pneumonia and an umbilical hernia. He made a good recovery and had surgery for his hernia. After he recovered from surgery he was adopted by a little girl named Lilly. They are now a part of HR Foal Foundation Makeover. They do lots of horse shows and events together. Goose is one of our best foal success stories.

Reba's Journey

" Reba came to us from auction in a group of 3 mares and 6 babies. They were from a hoarding situation and the auction did not know what babies went with which mommas. Reba was adopted by a little girl named Presley and they are a part of HHR Foal Foundation Makeover. They do lots of horse shows and events together.

Rufio's Journey

" Rufio was a sheriff department case. He was severely neglected and abused. He was a level 1 body condition. He has since made a full recovery in his weight and is now being rehabbed for his abuse issues.

Esmerelda's Journey

" Esmerelda came to us from auction. A few days after she got to the ranch she ended up having boogers. The vet came out and had us start her on antibiotic. Once she was better she was adopted by a lady and her and her daughter and ended up in a loving home.

Denver's Journey

" Denver came to us because we posted on Craigslist saying we had room to take in a horse in need. A gentlemen responded to our ad and brought Denver to us. He came from Houston. We later found out Denver had a lip tattoo and he was actually a ex-racehorse. Denver is now a permanent resident here and he is Kourts personal riding horse. He was also our first rescue together.

Stitch's Journey

" Stitch came to us from auction. He was a really skinny stud with a bad club foot. He wouldn't be gelded for a few months because he had to gain some weight first. Kourt trimmed his feet regularly to help correct his bad foot. Once he was better he was adopted and he is now used as a trail horse.
